The Haunted Village at Heritage Park
first annual Halloween event will be open to the public
October 29-31, 2006
Bring your whole family for an evening of safe fun entertainment
Sponsored jointly by The Rotary Club of Pinellas Park, Rotary Club of Seminole Lakes,
Rotary Club of Feather Sound, and Pinellas County

From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, through Tuesday., Oct. 31, Heritage Village will take on a ghostly air, with more than 15 historic structures decorated in themes that will tell more frightening tales than their original stories. In addition to the trick-or-treating, festivities will include a full line-up of entertainment each evening and make-and-take children’s Halloween crafts. Food vendors will be selling a variety of tasty treats, too.

No doubt about it—Heritage Village is the perfect setting for a unique Halloween destination,” said the museum’s special programs coordinator Carol Cortright. “We’ve wanted to do something like this for a long time.”  Carol Cortright, Heritage Village Special Programs and PR Coordinator (727) 582-2403.

The Rotary Club of Pinellas Park is excited about sponsoring this new annual event for the Tampa Bay community which will provide safe fun Halloween family entertainment with an added historical twist.  At the same time through sponsorships of the haunted houses and other fundraising activities, the event will help raise money to support community service projects including The Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics, Rotary Camp Florida, Ronald Mc Donald House, and more.  If you would like to help or learn more about sponsoring one of the  haunted houses, contact one of our clubs Haunted Village event coordinators Bob Miano or Barbara Sheen Todd.
